I was not sure exactly what mother and father were thinking about. Both of them stood with their arms akimbo. Their eyes squinted at somewhere opposite. Mother was looking up at the “purified” sky while father gazed down at the“glorifi ed” land. The line of their sight crossed at the topmost point of KK Mall’s roof. It looked as if they were admiring something, thoughtfully and thoroughly. There was an indescribable emotion on their faces. It seemed to me someone was asking, Who doesn’t desire beauty?
